A Child Welfare Call To Action: Shifting Our Focus from Mandating Reporting to Mandated Supporting
In this crucial webinar, we’ll explore efforts to shift from mandated reporting to supporting. The vast majority of CPS hotline calls are not deemed appropriate for investigation and even fewer actually result in open cases. This session with local and national child welfare leaders will highlight the importance of connecting children and families with appropriate resources before making potentially harmful hotline calls.
Join us to gain valuable insights into how we can identify potential biases in our decision making, locate local resources, and learn more about advocacy efforts happening across the country to change mandated reporting laws. This webinar is essential for social workers, educators, law enforcement officers, child welfare professionals, and anyone committed to child and family well-being.
